I found my way to the art of painting through two major influences. The first is my grandfather, Maximilian Leo who introduced me to painting very early. Although he did not give me any lessons or showed me techniques, i got a good impression what an artist is like and cleared the path for my career as an artist. 

​

If you ask me, how i would describe my creations i would say: colorful, full of life and with a graphical and sometimes edgy twist to it. Mostly rough and drafty. I try to create a positive impression on the viewer, to give hope and make clear that even if life is a mean son of a gun sometimes, it is not the end.

​

I like the idea of changing and improving the own life, to make more out of onesself and try to include this idea in my paintings. A supportive idea or quote to give the viewer a cozy and lightful lift. I think we can all need that every once in a while...

Ich habe den Zugang zur Kunst hauptsächlich durch 2 Wege gefunden. Als erstes durch meinen Opa Maximilian Leo der mich als erster mit der Malerei in Verbindung gebracht hat. Es gibt auch ein Portrait von mir als Kind. Obwohl mein Opa mir nie Zeichnen beigebracht hat war er Wegbereiter für meine Karriere als Künstler.

Wenn ich meine eigenen Kreationen beschreiben müsste, würde ich sie Farbenfroh, Lebensbejahend mit einem Edgy-twist bezeichnen. (Gott liest sich das schräg :) ) Ich versuche einen positiven Eindruck auf den Betrachter zu erwecken, Hoffnung zu machen und auch wenn es manchmal so scheint als sei das Leben eine dreckige Straßenhure, bedeutet das nicht, dass es das Ende ist.

Mir gefällt die Idee das eigene Leben zu verbessern. Mehr aus sich zu machen. Und ich versuche diesen Ansatz in meinen eigenen Bildern sichtbar zu machen. Das kann eine Unterstützung sein, um dem Betrachter einen kleinen Boost zu vermitteln. Ich glaube das kann so ziemlich jeder ab und an gebrauchen.
